The Suffolk Steel House & Glamping.

We’re a family run business here at the Suffolk Steel House & Glamping. 3 generations have had input into this new and exciting venture which we invite you to come and share with us.

We have 2 luxury 5 metre Bell Tents (also known as Tipis) available this season, ‘The Orwell’ and ‘The Stour’. Each Bell Tent can sleep a maximum of 2 people in a king size bed. The site is set in over half an acre of beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Here at the Suffolk Steel House & Glamping we realise how important it is to have your own space so as a result each tent comes with their own private bathroom.

The bathrooms are housed in the Monty Don inspired ‘steel house’ where of course, you’ll find up to date facilities-hot/cold running water, enclosed shower, flushing loo etc.

For cooking facilities there is a shared converted 1950s ‘Rice Horse box’ kitchen.

Set on the edge of the lovely old Suffolk village of Tattingstone, with its 2 pubs and shops within a bike ride ride away, you’ll have all you need for the perfect relaxing glamping experience.

• Ancient towns of Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and even Cambridge within an hour’s driving distance.
